I’m sorry dear readers, how rude of me not to have a proper first entry where I should introduce myself and welcome you! So let us begin with a fresh start. Hello! I’m Hannah, a 15 yr old readaholic. I like long walks on the beach…don’t worry I won’t go into that. Anyways, what can I say? You’ll find out more about me as you read my entries. Welcome to my blog! If you’re wondering about that name of my blog, I was totally stuck on ideas so I decided to build on my ‘nickname’ Hannah banana. I think I might go crazy sometimes on this blog so I guess it fits somehow. LALALALALALALA! There we go, my first bout of going bananas! Anyhow(that’s such a yr 8 word), I hope you enjoy reading my blog and feel free to post comments!
Until next time…
Who am I? That’s a secret I’ll never tell.
You know you love me, xoxo Hannah

A Surpising Letter
I’m jumping on the bandwagon and making a blog. *shock horror**news flash*HANNAH HAS A BLOG! Most people know me as a pretty private person and normally I wouldn’t dream of posting my life and feelings on the web for the whole world to see but I thought why not, as long as no creepy pedophile will stalk me I should be fine.
Today I came home from school and checked the letter box as usual and to my surprise I found a letter for me! I thought it a bit odd how the envelope and stamp looked so familiar until I realised it was from me! Now, dear reader, I know that you must be thinking what a weird, sad little girl, sends letters to herself, but let me explain. You see, near the end of trek, my leader Tash said that we could write a letter to ourselves and she would send it to us six months later. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone, we’re almost half-way into yr 10 and I still haven’t got used to it! After I realised what the letter was, I didn’t have much motivation to open it as I thought I already knew the content. But I finally gave in to mild curiosity and opened and read the letter addressed to me and from me! I laughed at the accuracy of the letter in the beginning when it said “You’ll be in the middle of yr 10, probably stressing about exams.”Then it started going on about all the corny stuff about how Trek was life-changing and how I’ve changed etc. etc. I sounded like my mum! C’mon gimme a break! I had only had about 4-5 hours of sleep and I was trying to write that letter on the bumpy bus ride home. Wasn’t that what I was supposed to write?? Then it gets worse! Can you believe that I start giving advice to myself!! I tell myself to do more chores(pffft as if that’s gonna happen) and not watch TV and go on the internet so much(that’s also unlikely). Although I like the thing I wrote near the end; I think Tash told us that when we climbing a particularly high and steep mountain in the pouring rain- “Just like trek, life isn’t meant to be easy, you just have to work hard to get through. So when you’re feeling down, just think of the mountains on trek and how you got up them. Persistance is the key.” That touched me it has given me strength to keep on going when things get tough.
Speaking of which, I better persist on the maths sheet that’s due tomorrow.
Until next time…
Toodles!
